An 81 years Old woman took the bull by the horn by creating an app for senior citizens. the app named “Hinadan” was launched in March.
Masako Wakaimiya was formerly a banker before she retired and also described herself as “Technology Evangelist”.

She said for people her age there is shortage of fun and that makes it a boring world. “We easily lose games when playing against young people, since our finger movements can’t match their speed,” Wakamiya told CNN.
Speaking at a TEDx conference in Tokyo in 2014, an energetic Wakamiya recalled how it took her three months to set up her computer and get online. “My face was covered in sweat and tears,” she said.
The app mimick Japan’s traditional festival Hinamatsuri or Doll’s Day. The app took half a year to develop.
She said this won’t be her last app.
